Job Description

Responsible for handling verification and payment of parking, toll, and camera violations in a timely manner.

Essential Functions

  • Receipt and verification of high volume parking, tow, tolls and camera violations from various states/cities.
  • Identify the violation by plate number, and call the state/city to verify status of violations and current balance due.
  • Process for client billing and payment of parking violations. Special processing for all NY parking tickets (through M&S Parking Fund), and accurately bill clients for appropriate charges.
  • Requires preparation of spreadsheets for NY tickets and collection agencies.
  • Forward letters or pay toll and camera violations to clients/drivers according to client routing specifications.
  • Maintain a record of violations processed and scanning of each violation.
  • Process refund checks and credit memos to clients.
  • Assist with special requests/reports/assignments that are implemented to maintain our relationship with our clients
  • Manage Metrics, ATS work queue, and Void Inbox
  • Research and submit request to identify unrecorded plate information
  • Assist others in the department during peak periods and to cover absences.
  • Manage Response Plan Tickets within OLA deadline
  • Research and process payments from Collection Agencies spreadsheets and including external communication with agencies.
  • Communicate with co-workers, team members, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
  • Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency.

Education: High School Diploma

Experience: Previous experience working in an office environment which included working with computers, handling large volume of work, basic Accounts Payable, and customer  service experience.

Skills: Computer knowledge, i.e. Excel, Word, and 10 key touch.  Must have good telephone etiquette.
