Job Description

The Regional VP of Client Success will have the responsibility to retain and grow the profitability of their assigned portfolio through increased service penetration, increased fees and rates.

  • Identify specific sales penetration opportunities of LeasePlan Programs and Services to existing clients in a defined geographic territory.
  • Increase fees to current pricing levels to achieve desired ROE yield.
  • Meet and exceed all objectives and goals assigned to the specific region.
  • Manage all Travel & Entertainment expenses within an assigned budget.
  • Management of clients within assigned territory to effectively exceed their expectations and maintain current use of enrolled programs and services. Continually demonstrate the value of LeasePlan's services.
  • Continually validate the enrollment of vehicles in contracted services.
  • Identify and profile all clients within the assigned territory through the Partnership Executive Plan (PDP). Ensure that the \u0022best practices\u0022 are utilized.
  • Identify those keys practices through the PDP process are utilized in the successful management of the client portfolio. As an example: the Information Planning Calendar / Client Milestones / etc.
  • Develop an Individual Marketing Program (IMP) through assistance from the Marketing Department that is specific the client portfolio.
  • Meet the annual objectives of the Client Relations Expectation Document.
  • Plan and develop \u0022Client Relationship Reviews\u0022 with all key clients within the portfolio.
  • Identify new client \u0022best practices\u0022 to share with clients and Client Relations Vice Presidents
  • Assist, where appropriate in the sales process for new prospects with the National Account Sales Vice Presidents.
  • Effectively work with Clients and LeasePlan Associates (internal organization) to solve client problems.
  • Perform or lead client reviews as required.
  • Maintain timely and accurate client records in is the evidencing documentation of activities.
  • Attend and participate in all Association meetings (namely NAFA, RIMS and AFLA) within existing territory, and nationally, as required.
  • Attend regularly scheduled teleconference sales meetings as directed by the National Vice President of Client Relations.
  • Constantly improve Consultant Selling techniques and knowledge of LeasePlan programs and services through training visits to both the Rolling Meadows and Atlanta offices. Additional professional sales skills development will be through the National Sales Training meeting; outside training organizations; Up Close & Personal.
  • Communicate with co-workers, team members, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
  • Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency.
Education: College Degree or equivalent desired.  Fleet industry experience a plus. Must enroll and successfully complete most current Sales Training program as defined by the Senior Vice President - Client Relations.
Experience: Minimum four years successful outside sales experience.  Fleet service sales preferred. Prior knowledge of a contact management system, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.Skills: Must be willing to reside within the sales territory and “home office” therein and/or must be willing to travel within a defined territory. Must be able to manage and direct meetings, as well as make public presentations before small and large groups. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently. Flawless follow-up and organizational skills required. Excellent grammar, and writing ability a must. Promote communication and respect when dealing with all LeasePlan Associates. Encourage ideas from Superiors and Associates to facilitate a more efficient work flow and  Associate/Client interaction. Must promote a team concept in all selling and Client Relations activities. Ability to make sound decisions within the scope of the job.  Must have superior time management and organizational ability. Must be flexible and willing to adapt with the company's needs.  Must possess excellent listening and problem solving skills. Must be willing to accept direction and constructive feedback from Superiors.
