Job Description


The goal of the Regional Vice President is successfully selling financial and funding solutions, services and program solutions related to fleet management and mobility for US fleets of greater than 100 units. This will be realized by lead generation resulting in closing new business opportunities combined with supporting LeasePlan sales and account management team members on requests for assistance in regards to existing clients.

 Specific responsibilities include:  

  • Prospecting activities to identify new business opportunities and meet minimum activity requirements
  • Create viable prospects into new customers
  • Set meetings for formal introductions to earn the right,
  • that drives agreement for further meetings to do discovery and questioning,
  • which drives further commitment to present LeasePlan's services, funding offerings, analytics and fleet management solutions, which creates
  • an opportunity to provide pricing on those solutions and negotiation of agreements and statement of work
  • Financially analyze total cost of ownership, and understand financial statements and balance sheets
  • Manage territory and prospect requirements within LeasePlan
  • Work complex sales and bring to a successful close/win
  • Identify and profile all key prospects within the given territory
  • Utilizing to manage and keep accurate records of activities, prospect desires, fleet solutions, stakeholder analysis and discovery documentation
  • Utilize \u0022war room\u0022 strategies to vet and create strategic approaches to win key national or regional prospects, by utilizing consultative and solutions oriented selling processes.
  • Possess leadership, communication and interpersonal skills and strategic selling ability
  • Communicate with co-workers, team members, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
  • Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency.

Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelors Degree in business, finance or economics, MBA preferred


Minimum of 3-5 years outside sales in the selling of a financial service or non-tangible service-driven programs, with Top-Producer status in the most recent years

Must be willing to travel a minimum of 40% of the time


Quantifiable Sales success,

General understanding of finance, balance-sheet and lease structures

Effective and professional oral and written communication,

Time management and technologically competences

Must be able to direct meetings and make public presentations before small and large groups

Must be a self-starter and work autonomously

Encourage ideas from Superiors and Associates to bring opportunities to a close and win

Must possess excellent listening and problem solving skills
