Job Description

The Lease Administration Analyst is responsible for the audit of Vehicle Settlement cost activities for expediting accurate and timely invoicing to our client base; analyze asset costs to ensure proper application of costs per client vehicle lease agreements; provide proactive customer service to internal/external customers while maintaining integrity in a high-volume transaction and fast paced environment 


  • Review lease provisions in various systems, reports and documentation to ensure Settlements costs are administered accurately.
  • Corresponds with Legal for the correction of system contract errors.
  • Monitor settlements to ensure maximum return or minimal loss on sale
  • Analyze data to create Pay-Off Quotes for Closed End vehicles, providing estimated payoff amounts as requested
  • Review Pre-Settlement Reports to assure accuracy of vehicle settlement costs prior to monthly billing close
  • Research and resolve billing settlement issues
  • Performs Lease Modifications per requests including, but not limited to lease term, interest rate and lease commencement dates and/or interim interest calculations per request with a focus on Closed End vehicles
  • Analyze Partner Plan Settlements to distribute profit sharing funds to clients
  • Aid in the creation of reports for analyzing issues and opportunities
  • Act as customer service representative to provide support to internal and external customers
  • Cross train with others on the Lease Administration team to be available and flexible to assist in areas as needed for complete coverage of team’s duties
  • Create and maintain departmental files for current and new processes as needed
  • Complete weekly/monthly assigned tasks as prescribed per departmental reviews
  • Assist with the monthly Closing cycles
  • Available for extended hours during peak periods
  • Communicate with co-workers, team members, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner
  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
  • Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance
  • Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency

  • Ability to work with business systems to include, but not limited to ResponsePlan, AS400, JD Edwards, ePlan
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

Education:       Minimum Business Bachelor’s Degree preferred or appropriate work experience

Experience:     3+ years of prior experience working in the Fleet Leasing industry or Financial Services industry with 1-2 years basic knowledge of accounting principles preferred.  Knowledge of Auction Sales, 3rd Party Vendors and Settlement processes required.  Financial analytical skills and experience with operational processes in a fast-paced client service based industry.  Experience in systems testing but not required.  Understanding of lease terminology, calculations and principles preferred

Skills:               Excellent communication skills written and verbal, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, high levels of concentration and keen attention to detail.  Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.  Must Possess good analytical and problem solving skills.  SAP experience preferred, but not required.
