Job Description

Key business partner that interprets financial and operational results, engages with key business owners to ensure they understand the results, trends and help them develops metrics to ensure success.

Essential Functions:

  1. Identify, track and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) used to measure performance.
  2. Design reports, interpret results, prepare analysis and present financial and operational results to key business owners and executive management.
  3. Own the annual budget process, monthly forecasts and long term projections.
  4. Review operating results with key business owners, challenge the results and discuss ways for improvement. Participate in design and implementation of plans.
  5. Analyze historical and future trend data, develop reports, and provide counsel to management for development of appropriate actions.
  6. Prepare executive packages and monthly strategic planning presentations.
  7. Support commercial organization with pricing analysis, customer wins/losses, etc.
  8. Analyze, review and make recommendations regarding pricing proposals.
  9. Ensure a collaborative and effective partnership is adhered with external reporting, accounting and corporate functions.
  10. Mentor, train and coach staff.
  11. Other duties as requested.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education, Training & Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required, MBA and/or CPA is preferred.
  • Automotive and/or Financial Services experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience, including 3 years’ experience managing a team.
  • Strong financial acumen and business savvy.
  • Strong computer skills required including MS Office

  • Strong computer skills are required. Experienced with SAP is preferred.

  • Some travel required (~20%)
