Job Description

The Contract Administrator coordinates and prepares lease and equity sales documentation in conjunction with various departments and in accordance with LeasePlan policies and procedures.


  • Prepare standard lease and equity documentation, including but not limited to the following: Master Lease Agreements, Schedules, Master Assignment Agreements, Specifications, Incumbency Certificates, Guaranties and any addendum or amendments to such documents. 
  • Act as a liaison between the lessee, sales, internal counsel, investors and senior management on deal negotiations. Prepare, distribute and track document drafts during negotiation and prepare final versions for execution.  
  • Maintain agreement templates in the Company’s electronic files and maintain all original agreements in fire proof file drawers. 
  • Input equipment details into electronic system, including term, lease rate factor, asset description, MACRS life, yield and Treasury used for pricing. 
  • Maintain certificates of insurance on all leased equipment and order new certificates upon expiration. Verify insurance certificate limits against Master Lease requirements to ensure adherence. 
  • Communicate with investors to obtain feedback and approval of changes to lessee documentation. 
  • Track deal activity to ensure documentation is executed and returned to LeasePlan in a timely manner. 
  • Prepare and distribute completed deal packages to investors as directed by the Senior Contracts Administrator and VP of Syndication. 
  • Deliver equity sale documentation to Accounting. Close funded deals in LeasePlan system as directed by Accounting. 
  • Handle all Lessee, internal/external client and investor requests for information and route to appropriate parties. 
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Senior Contracts Administrator, the VP of Syndication and the General Counsel.

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience:  3-5 years of industry leasing and documentation experience preferred.

Skills:  Working knowledge of lease structures and lease documentation; proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
