Job Description

The Analyst, Client Consulting role core responsibilities will involve supporting client success and business development through cost savings analytics for clients and prospects. This consultant will support the Client Success Team’s cost savings targets through tailored / bespoke consultancy projects and will communicate the results and findings both through presentations and consultancy write ups.

 Essential Functions

  • Support client success and business development through cost savings analytics for clients and prospect

  • Support the Client Success Team’s cost savings targets through tailored / bespoke consultancy projects 

  • Communicate consultancy results and findings both through presentations and consultancy write up

  • Support the One LeasePlan and LPUS Transformation

  • Support consultancy services for new products and services

  • Work with the client review team on the utilization of proprietary (Client, LPUS, LP) and industry data to support client decision making processes

  • Actively pursues best practices in the area of consultancy in the focused areas by leveraging available formal (classroom or online training, industry events) and informal (existing team resources, independent research) resources

  • Communication skills that extend to both internal and external customers and portray the knowledge, confidence, and meticulousness of an information providing department

  • Tactfully handle multiple competing longer and shorter term timelines while providing service excellence towards all work.

  • Uses standard reporting software tools to extract, manipulate, and format data required for analytical reporting.

  • Analyze and interpret information to determine cause & effect factors and identifies trends relating to operation performance.

  • Provide specific recommendations based on sound logical and knowledge of fleet operations and industry trends.

  • Ability to explain data trends through understanding of client operational and fleet financial business data levers and underlying root causes.

  • Meets with specific client stakeholders and other subject matter experts to gather requirements and understand specifications for Business Reviews and reporting / analytical needs.

  • Utilizes strong communication skills to convey meaning and interpretation of conclusions to internal and external clients.

  • Communicate with co-workers, team members, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

  • Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance.

Requirements

Education:    Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics or similar degree required

Experience:  1-3 years Business Analytics/Data Science experience, fleet management experience a plus

Skills:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (certification is a plus)  and Microsoft PowerPivot
  • Proficiency with creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience in Microsoft SQL Server a plus

  • Excellent business writing skills
  • Attend departmental meetings as requested by management.
  • Must be able to follow departmental processes.
  • Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment.
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to make decisions within the scope of work and meet project deadlines.
