Job Description

The Finance Manager over Pricing will be responsible for managing efforts of the Pricing department. The role will oversee the development of standard product and service pricing levels, as well as the total customer profitability.  The role will oversee the annual client profitability review process, ensure business processes are efficient and Pricing tools are developed and functioning according to management expectations.  This position reports to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.


Manage, develop and recruit potential staff that engages with the sales team to produce quotes and measure potential and achieved profitability

Lead the modeling, testing and improvement efforts surrounding the current prospect and future client profitability modeling.

Manage the LPUS-Pricing mailbox. Proactively determine what type of analysis is required to complete the request and complete analysis prior to sending to manager for review and approval if needed.

Manage delivery of internal or external periodic and ad-hoc financial and modeling deliverables (reporting / analysis) in a timely and accurate manner and communicate and / or pursue resolution of issues as required.

Communicate with co-workers, team members, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.

Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Demonstrate reliable and predictable attendance.

Other duties assigned to ensure overall departmental efficiency.

Education:  Undergraduate Degree in Economics, Finance or related area required.  MBA Degree a plus.

Experience:  5+ years in Finance roles with a focus on Pricing management.

Skills:  Understanding of fleet management, leasing, and financial concepts (required);  Ability to lead / facilitate process change in current environment (required);  Interest in managing, creating and improving analytical processes (required);  Proficiency in MS Excel (required) and MS Access (preferred);  Working knowledge of AS400 or SAP preferred.
